Director of Data & AI - Insurance Transformation - 18 Month FTC

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing organisation within the general insurance sector undergoing significant business and operational transformation to appoint a Director of Data & AI.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving business efficiencies, operational improvement, and AI-enabled transformation through the effective use of data, automation, and intelligent technologies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisations data and AI capability — helping identify opportunities to optimise processes, improve decision-making, enhance customer outcomes, and support scalable growth across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development and execution of the organisations Data & AI strategy
• Driving AI-enabled business transformation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Building and embedding data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organisation
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and optimise operations through AI and automation
• Leading data governance, reporting, and insight capabilities
• Partnering with operational, technology, and business leaders to align data and AI initiatives with strategic priorities
• Supporting the development of scalable AI, analytics, and automation capabilities
• Driving cultural adoption of AI and data-led ways of working across the business
