Director of Operations - EMEA

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Operations to oversee and manage all operations across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on activities managed from Nottingham . This executive role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring scalability, and leading significant strategic initiatives throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will be a key member of the global leadership team, shaping the operational landscape and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across diverse markets. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies for the EMEA region, aligning with global business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of regional operations managers and directors, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance across all EMEA markets.
• Manage regional P&L, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize financial performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee risk management and ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements across the EMEA region.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management , with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple countries or regions.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex international operations and driving strategic growth.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced, global organization and managing diverse teams.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field is highly preferred.
