Functional Assessor £45,000–£49,000 + Bonuses | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | Hybrid

Location: Home Based / Office Based Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

As a Functional Assessor, you'll assess how long-term health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily living, mobility and functional ability. You'll conduct structured consultations, consider medical evidence and produce clear, objective and evidence-based reports.

No hands-on care is required, and no previous Functional Assessor experience is necessary.

What you'll do:

Conduct face-to-face, telephone and video assessments Take detailed clinical histories and ask structured questions Assess how health conditions and disabilities affect daily activities and functional ability Review and analyse medical evidence and supporting information Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement Produce accurate, objective and evidence-based reports Manage your own workload and caseload Communicate professionally and sensitively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds What You'll Get:

Registered Nurses Occupational Therapists Physiotherapists Paramedics Pharmacists You'll Need: Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration At least 1 year's post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Good clinical reasoning and professional judgement Excellent report-writing, typing and IT skills The ability to work independently and manage a caseload Full right to work in the UK Important: This position is specifically for the registered healthcare professions listed above.
