About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and organised Dispatch Operative to manage the efficient dispatch of goods from their Portsmouth warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time, meeting customer expectations and operational deadlines. You will work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to maintain smooth workflows and ensure all outgoing shipments comply with company standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are correctly labelled and documented.
• Coordinate with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing goods to ensure they meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area within the dispatch zone.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or dispatch role is advantageous.
• Good understanding of order fulfillment processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
