Logistics Operator

Location: Livingston Salary: £13.50, increasing to £14.25 after a 12-week training period Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm Contract: Temp to Perm

We're looking for a hands-on Logistics Operator to join a busy operation in Livingston.

You'll be part of the day-to-day movement of goods and spare parts, with a strong focus on dispatch, courier coordination, goods out, and loading and unloading vehicles.

Coordinating the dispatch of goods, spare parts and equipment via courier and freight services Using courier portals to book collections, arrange deliveries, print shipping labels and track consignments Preparing goods for dispatch Preparing shipment documentation, including customs paperwork and delivery notes Booking stock in and out of the warehouse and maintaining accurate dispatch and inventory records Monitoring deliveries and tracking shipments, resolving delays or delivery issues where required Loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring goods are handled safely throughout the dispatch process Maintaining an organised, safe and efficient warehouse and dispatch area Supporting the wider logistics team with day-to-day dispatch, courier and delivery requirementsWhat we're looking for:

Distribution or logistics experience within a manufacturing environment Experience using courier portals or booking delivery/collection services would be beneficial A reliable and hands-on approach Good attention to detail Ability to work well as part of a team Forklift licence beneficial, but not essentialThis is a great opportunity to join a growing team with the potential to secure a permanent role.
