About the Role

You will be the central point of contact for drivers, operations staff, and customers, managing real-time logistics and problem-solving to maintain operational flow. Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles for pick-up and delivery routes.
• Monitor driver progress and communicate effectively to provide updates and address any issues.
• Optimize delivery routes for efficiency, considering traffic, delivery windows, and vehicle capacity.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
• Liaise with customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any service-related concerns.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of dispatch activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role is essential.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
