About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join their vibrant legal department based in Leeds . This role focuses on managing a diverse caseload of contentious matters, including commercial litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. You will be responsible for advising clients on strategic approaches to dispute management, representing them in proceedings, and working towards favorable resolutions. This position offers the chance to engage with a broad range of disputes and contribute to the firm's reputation for excellent client service and legal expertise in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct complex litigation and arbitration cases from commencement to conclusion.
• Advise clients on legal strategies for dispute resolution, including settlement negotiations and mediation.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents with precision.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as required.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales with a strong background in dispute resolution.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience handling contentious matters across various legal disciplines.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Familiarity with civil procedure rules and court processes.
