Job Description
As a Disrepair Surveyor in Birmingham, you'll be assessing and managing property disrepair cases within the public sector. Your work will play a key role in ensuring properties meet required standards and addressing tenant concerns effectively.
Client Details
Large Social Housing provider in the Midlands.
Description
Conduct property inspections to identify disrepair issues and recommend solutions.
Prepare detailed reports on findings and proposed remedial actions.
Work closely with contractors to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard.
Provide technical advice and guidance to tenants on disrepair matters.
Manage and monitor disrepair claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and communications.
Liaise with legal teams on disrepair cases, providing expert input when required.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety guidelines.Profile
A successful Disrepair Surveyor should have:
Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field.
Strong knowledge of housing disrepair legislation and standards.
Experience in conducting property inspections and preparing detailed reports.
Ability to effectively liaise with contractors, tenants, and legal teams.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Job Offer
Hourly rate of £35.75 dependent on the level of experience.
