About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and hardworking Distribution Centre Operatives to join their team in Norwich . This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the distribution centre, involving the handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will be responsible for various tasks, including sorting, picking, packing, and loading, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. This position is perfect for individuals who are physically fit, enjoy working in a team, and are committed to maintaining high levels of productivity and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process incoming inventory accurately.
• Pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the distribution centre.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a distribution centre or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
