About the Role

Our client is seeking a hardworking and reliable Distribution Centre Operative to join their team in Oxford . This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution network, ensuring that goods are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth flow of inventory and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming goods, checking for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to schedules and requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the distribution centre.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking as required.
• Load vehicles for outgoing shipments, ensuring items are secured properly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures related to warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols in a logistics environment.
