Domiciliary Care Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, with a flexible, remote-first coordination model based out of Norwich . This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence and well-being within their familiar surroundings. You will be a key point of contact, ensuring clients receive personalised care that respects their dignity and choices. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help clients with medication management as per their care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to dietary requirements.
• Perform light domestic duties to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Accompany clients on appointments or social outings as needed and facilitate communication with family and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and patient demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of basic health and safety principles in a care setting.
• Willingness to travel within the Norwich area as required for home visits.
