Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting, while maintaining dignity.
- Assist with medication prompts and administration as per care plans.
- Support clients with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Accompany clients on appointments or outings, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the care manager.
- Promote independence and encourage clients to engage in daily activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care role, particularly in domiciliary or home care, is advantageous.
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to undertake comprehensive training, including first aid and safeguarding.
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is often required for this role.
