About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Donor Relations Manager to join their team in Norwich . This vital role focuses on cultivating and strengthening relationships with major donors, ensuring their continued and increased support for our client's mission. You will be responsible for developing personalized stewardship plans, identifying new major gift opportunities, and ensuring our donors feel valued and informed about the impact of their contributions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for the effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of high-value donors.
- Identify prospective major donors and develop tailored approaches for engagement.
- Plan and execute donor events and recognition activities.
- Collaborate with leadership and programme teams to articulate funding needs and impact stories.
- Manage donor database records and ensure accurate tracking of interactions and pledges.
Requirements
- Proven experience in major donor fundraising or high-value relationship management, preferably in the charity sector .
- Demonstrated success in securing significant donations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop compelling fundraising cases.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
