Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage the implementation of surface water and foul water drainage systems.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and modeling for proposed drainage infrastructure.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, including Sewers for Adoption standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for drainage systems .
• Liaise with water authorities, local councils, and environmental agencies.
• Contribute to flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage (SuDS) strategies.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing stormwater management and foul drainage systems.
• Proficiency with drainage design software such as MicroDrainage or similar.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable drainage principles (SuDS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
