About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling programs, including well design, casing schemes, and cementing strategies.
• Manage the procurement of drilling services and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Oversee drilling operations on-site or remotely, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct post-drilling analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for operational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare daily drilling reports and communicate operational status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling engineering, with a strong understanding of drilling techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in drilling software and well planning tools.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in drilling operations.
