Key Responsibilities

• Design and recommend appropriate drilling fluid systems based on well conditions and objectives.
• Supervise and manage drilling fluid operations on drilling rigs.
• Monitor drilling fluid properties and performance, making necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot downhole problems related to drilling fluid performance, such as stuck pipe or lost circulation.
• Conduct performance analysis of drilling fluid products and services.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for drilling fluid disposal and management.
• Prepare technical reports and provide training to field personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer or Specialist.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, properties, and applications.
• Experience with various drilling fluid systems (water-based, oil-based, synthetic-based).
• Familiarity with drilling operations and common downhole challenges.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
