About the Role

Our client requires a seasoned Drilling Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage drilling operations from their Birmingham base. This critical role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of drilling campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating rig crews, managing equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in drilling operations and a strong commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of drilling operations on-site and remotely.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate the logistics and scheduling of drilling rigs, equipment, and personnel.
• Monitor drilling performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage operational budgets and control drilling-related expenditures.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for rig personnel.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in onshore and/or offshore drilling operations .
• Proven track record in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, cementing, well control, and directional drilling.
• Valid Well Control certification (e.g., IWCF Level 3 or 4).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
