About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Drilling Supervisor to manage and oversee all drilling operations for their offshore projects , based remotely but reporting into the operational hub servicing Glasgow, Scotland, UK . This senior role demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a steadfast commitment to safety and operational integrity. You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of drilling crews, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective drilling execution in a challenging marine environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all drilling and workover operations on offshore installations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, well control policies, and environmental regulations.
• Manage drilling crews, contractors, and service providers to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Monitor drilling progress, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure all personnel are aware of potential hazards and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare daily drilling reports and contribute to post-operation reviews and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Drilling Supervisor or Drilling Engineer in offshore environments.
• Strong knowledge of offshore drilling techniques, equipment, and safety management systems.
• Valid IWCF certification (Level 3 or 4) is essential.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
