Drilling Supervisor - Onshore Operations

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Drilling Supervisor to oversee onshore drilling operations in the vicinity of Norwich . This hands-on role requires a leader who can ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling execution according to established plans and procedures. You will be responsible for supervising drilling crews, managing equipment, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to critical energy infrastructure projects in the East Anglia region, working closely with field teams from their operational base near Norwich .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily drilling operations, ensuring adherence to the approved drilling program .
• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during all drilling activities.
• Monitor drilling parameters and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
• Manage drilling crew performance and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with directional drilling, logging, and other service providers.
• Maintain accurate daily drilling reports and communicate operational status.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Drilling Supervisor or similar field role in onshore operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IWCF) are preferred.
