About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team remotely, supporting operations based in Nottingham . You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and reporting on complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive e-commerce strategy, website performance, and sales growth. This role is crucial for understanding customer behavior, optimizing conversion rates, and identifying key opportunities within the online retail landscape, working in a flexible and independent remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key e-commerce KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of website changes and marketing initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the customer journey, website usability, and overall online sales performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to translate data insights into strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in e-commerce analytics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst , Data Analyst, or in a similar quantitative role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and statistical software.
- Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Excellent ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketing channels.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple analytical projects effectively in a remote environment.
