About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and insightful E-commerce Analyst to join their fully remote team, working from anywhere in the UK but ideally connected to Reading . This role is essential for understanding customer behaviour, optimizing website performance, and driving strategic decisions within the e-commerce landscape. You will dive deep into data to uncover trends, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance the customer journey and increase conversion rates. This is a prime opportunity for a detail-oriented analyst passionate about leveraging data to shape the future of online retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze website traffic, user behaviour, conversion funnels, and sales data to identify key trends and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track e-commerce performance against key metrics (KPIs).
- Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to optimize website elements, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Identify customer segmentation opportunities and provide insights to personalize marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Monitor competitor performance and market trends to inform strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst , Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on online retail.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
