About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Reading . This role is dedicated to leveraging data to understand customer behavior, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize the online sales and marketing efforts. You will work closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance the customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify key trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, A/B tests, and customer journeys to provide insights for optimization.
- Identify opportunities for improving website conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights.
- Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on online retail.
- Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
- Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, customer behavior, and marketing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
