About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven E-commerce Analyst to join their growing team in Norwich . This role is essential for providing critical insights into online performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets from various e-commerce channels to identify opportunities for growth, conversion optimization, and improved customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse data from e-commerce platforms, web analytics, and other relevant sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website performance and conversion rates.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform e-commerce strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to implement data-driven improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or similar data analysis role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and statistical software.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) is essential.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
