About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical E-commerce & Social Media Strategist to enhance their online presence and drive sales from their base in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is key to developing and implementing overarching strategies for both e-commerce platforms and social media engagement. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, crafting data-driven campaigns, and ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinker with a deep understanding of digital consumer behavior and a proven track record of achieving measurable results in online sales and brand growth, contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within a flexible working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine long-term e-commerce strategies focused on increasing conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
- Design and oversee the execution of comprehensive social media marketing plans to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and threats in the digital landscape.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of e-commerce and social media initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure alignment of digital strategies with overall business objectives.
- Optimize website user experience and social media content for maximum impact and conversion.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies and social media campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and various social media management and analytics tools.
- Excellent understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and paid social advertising.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience presenting strategies to stakeholders.
