E-commerce Content Writer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative E-commerce Content Writer to craft compelling product descriptions, engaging marketing copy, and informative blog posts for their online platform. This role, based in Stoke-on-Trent , is integral to enhancing the customer experience and driving sales through persuasive and SEO-friendly content within the e-commerce and social media sphere. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure all content accurately reflects the brand voice and product features.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits, optimized for search engines.
• Develop engaging marketing copy for website pages, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media posts.
• Create informative and shareable blog content related to the company's products and industry.
• Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and adheres to brand style guides and tone of voice.
• Collaborate with the SEO specialist to incorporate relevant keywords and optimize content for search visibility.
• Proofread and edit content produced by other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Writer , Copywriter, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce writing samples.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to web content.
• Ability to research and translate technical product information into customer-friendly language.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
