About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical E-commerce Data Analyst to join their expanding team in Liverpool . This role is essential for uncovering insights from complex datasets to drive strategic decision-making across our online business. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall profitability. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a passion for leveraging data to optimize the e-commerce customer journey, working within a hybrid model from our Liverpool offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including website analytics, sales data, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key e-commerce KPIs and provide regular performance updates.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover insights into customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize website performance, marketing strategies, and user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to translate data insights into business strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide statistical guidance on experimental design.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
- Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
