E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and streamline all aspects of their online retail operations. This crucial remote position involves managing inventory, order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and scaling our e-commerce infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment process, from order placement to final delivery.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers.
• Implement and improve operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, including order accuracy, on-time delivery rates, and return rates.
• Lead and mentor a remote operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage complex operational workflows and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and shipping logistics.
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing remote teams.
