E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of their online business operations from their hub in Bradford . This role is vital for ensuring seamless order fulfilment, inventory management, and customer service excellence across all digital channels. You will be responsible for optimizing operational processes, managing logistics partners, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize all aspects of the e-commerce fulfillment process, including warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers.
• Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Monitor key operational metrics (e.g., order accuracy, on-time delivery, cost per order) and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage customer service inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations , logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and fulfillment processes.
• Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and carriers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
