E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee their online retail operations in Leeds . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all e-commerce processes, from inventory management and order fulfillment to customer service and website maintenance. You will be responsible for optimizing operational workflows, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and e-commerce platform management, with a proven ability to drive operational excellence and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor website performance and functionality, working with technical teams to resolve any issues promptly.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related logistics and supply chain management role.
• Proven experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
