E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee all logistical and operational aspects of their online business in Liverpool . This critical role ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the e-commerce platform, from order processing and inventory management to fulfillment and customer service. You will be responsible for optimizing operational workflows, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex supply chains and lead operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including order processing, inventory management, warehousing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the entire order fulfillment process, reducing costs and improving delivery times.
• Oversee inventory levels, forecasting demand, and working with suppliers to ensure product availability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and implement quality control measures.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and other external partners.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations management or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing supply chains, inventory, and fulfillment processes.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, WMS, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management for operational areas.
