About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive E-commerce Operations Specialist to join their team in Edinburgh . This hybrid role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of their online store, focusing on optimizing processes that enhance the customer experience. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing order fulfillment, and troubleshooting operational issues to maintain high standards of service, collaborating closely with logistics, customer support, and IT departments to streamline operations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels across all sales channels to prevent stockouts and minimize overstock.
- Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any technical or operational issues that may arise.
- Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient warehousing and shipping operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, providing timely and effective solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations , logistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams and external partners.
