About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented E-commerce Performance Analyst to join their team, working remotely but with a focus on their Portsmouth operations. This role is critical for driving business growth by interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and marketing campaign effectiveness. You will work closely with various departments to identify opportunities for optimization, improve conversion rates, and enhance the overall customer experience on their e-commerce platforms. This is an ideal position for a data wizard who thrives on uncovering patterns and translating numbers into strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving online sales and user experience.
- Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) analysis to identify effective strategies for increasing website conversions.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email).
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to implement data-driven strategies and improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an E-commerce Analyst , Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on online retail.
- Expertise in using web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, including setting up custom tracking and analyzing complex data sets.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and strong Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and CRO principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
