E-commerce Platform Administrator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled E-commerce Platform Administrator to manage and optimize their online sales channels. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and functional online shopping experience for customers. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of e-commerce operations. You will play a vital role in keeping the online store running efficiently and effectively, supporting the broader retail objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Manage product information, including uploads, updates, descriptions, pricing, and imagery.
• Configure and manage website settings, including payment gateways, shipping options, and promotional rules.
• Monitor website performance, identify technical issues, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Implement and test new features, functionalities, and integrations on the e-commerce platform.
• Ensure data integrity and security across the platform, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an E-commerce Administrator , E-commerce Specialist, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, online merchandising, and user experience best practices.
• Proficiency in managing product information and content within an e-commerce environment.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
