About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced E-commerce Platform Developer to join our growing digital team. This is a fully remote role where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform, ensuring it is scalable, robust, and provides an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with product managers and designers to implement new features and optimize existing functionalities, contributing directly to our online business success from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities for our e-commerce website using modern web technologies.
• Optimize website performance, loading speed, and overall user experience.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, marketing tools).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform promptly.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web development , with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, custom builds).
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, React, Node.js).
• Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development principles, as well as API integration.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote , collaborative team environment.
