About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative E-commerce Platform Developer to join their technology team, working entirely remotely. This role is central to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our client's core e-commerce platform, ensuring a robust, scalable, and user-friendly online shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities for the e-commerce platform using modern web technologies.
- Optimize website performance, loading speeds, and scalability to handle high traffic volumes and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing customer interfaces.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks within the platform.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Developer or full-stack web developer, with significant experience in e-commerce environments.
- Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Python) and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Node.js).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or custom-built solutions.
- Solid understanding of database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and API development (RESTful).
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems (Git).
