About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee their online presence in a fully remote capacity. This critical role involves managing the day-to-day operations, strategic development, and continuous improvement of their e-commerce website and related digital channels. You will be responsible for optimizing the user experience, ensuring platform stability, and implementing features that drive sales and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of e-commerce technologies, user experience principles, and a proven track record of managing successful online retail platforms remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.
- Oversee website content, product catalog management, and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and customer engagement.
- Implement and manage A/B tests and other optimization initiatives to improve conversion rates, user experience, and site performance.
- Collaborate with development teams, designers, and marketing stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and execute new features and functionalities.
- Analyze e-commerce data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for platform enhancement and growth.
- Ensure seamless integration with other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager , Platform Manager, or similar role with a focus on online retail.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and SEO best practices.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, effective in a remote setting.
- Ability to lead initiatives and manage vendor relationships.
