About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and technically proficient E-commerce Platform Manager to lead the development and optimization of their online store. This role, based in Liverpool , is responsible for ensuring the platform is robust, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives. You will oversee website performance, manage integrations with third-party systems, and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience and conversion rates. This is a critical position for someone with a deep understanding of e-commerce technologies and a passion for delivering cutting-edge online retail solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of the e-commerce platform.
- Oversee website performance, uptime, and security, implementing solutions to improve speed and reliability.
- Plan and execute platform enhancements, including feature rollouts, A/B testing, and user experience improvements.
- Manage integrations with essential third-party systems such as CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and marketing automation tools.
- Collaborate with development teams, designers, and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor e-commerce analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce platform management or e-commerce technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Experience with web technologies, APIs, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in analyzing e-commerce data and translating insights into actionable platform improvements.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
