About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and optimize their online store. This role is crucial for ensuring the website functions seamlessly, offers an excellent user experience, and supports all aspects of the e-commerce business. You will be responsible for website maintenance, product catalog management, implementing new features, and troubleshooting technical issues. Based in Sheffield , you will work closely with marketing, IT, and operations teams to drive online sales and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and their functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring uptime and optimal performance.
• Oversee product catalog management, including uploading new products, updating information, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Implement and manage website updates, including new features, promotions, and content changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform, working with IT support as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure website content and promotions are accurately reflected and optimized.
• Monitor website performance metrics, user experience, and conversion rates, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Platform Specialist , Website Manager, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and their functionalities.
• Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret website data and user behaviour.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
