About the Role

Our client is seeking a technically proficient E-commerce Platform Specialist to join their remote team, contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of their online store. This role is central to ensuring the optimal performance, functionality, and user experience of the e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for implementing new features, troubleshooting technical issues, and driving improvements that directly impact sales and customer satisfaction. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) to support business requirements.
• Implement and test new features, integrations, and updates to the platform, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with development teams, designers, and marketing to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor platform performance, security, and uptime, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.
• Stay current with e-commerce technology trends and best practices to recommend platform enhancements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with one or more major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and performance monitoring.
