E-commerce Social Media Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful E-commerce Social Media Analyst to join their data-driven marketing team in Reading . This critical role involves diving deep into social media performance data to uncover trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize our e-commerce strategy. You will be responsible for tracking key metrics, generating comprehensive reports, and translating complex data into clear, strategic guidance for the marketing and sales departments. This is an office-based position where you will collaborate closely with a team dedicated to leveraging data for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various social media platforms and analytics tools to assess campaign performance and ROI.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social media engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data to inform strategic decisions for social media content, campaigns, and platform focus.
• Conduct competitive analysis of social media activities and benchmark performance against industry standards.
• Provide regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and recommending actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with the social media team to test hypotheses and implement data-driven optimizations for ongoing campaigns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media analytics, data analysis, or a related field, with a strong focus on e-commerce .
• Proficiency with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social) and data visualization software.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in creating comprehensive reports and presenting data to diverse audiences.
• Must be able to work full-time, office-based in Reading .
