About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful E-commerce Social Media Analyst to join their team, offering a fully remote working opportunity. This role is critical for measuring the effectiveness of social media strategies and providing actionable data insights to drive growth and optimize performance for their online retail business . You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key metrics across various social platforms, translating complex data into clear recommendations for marketing and product teams. If you have a passion for data, a strong understanding of social media within an e-commerce context , and the ability to derive strategic value from analytics, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of social media campaigns across all relevant platforms to assess effectiveness against business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights related to social media engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Identify opportunities for optimization by analyzing audience behavior, content performance, and competitor activities on social media.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for strategy adjustments, campaign improvements, and content development.
- Conduct audience analysis to understand demographics, interests, and online behavior to inform targeted marketing efforts.
- Stay abreast of the latest analytics tools, methodologies, and industry best practices in social media marketing and e-commerce .
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on social media performance.
- Proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social, Brandwatch).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and how social media contributes to sales funnels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
