E-commerce Social Media Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented E-commerce Social Media Coordinator to support their digital marketing efforts. This remote role will focus on executing social media content calendars, engaging with online communities, and assisting in the development of creative campaigns that drive traffic and sales for their e-commerce platforms. You will play a key part in maintaining brand consistency and amplifying our online presence. This position is perfect for a budding social media professional who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive, virtual team environment, based in Belfast but working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of daily content across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and escalating issues as needed.
• Engage with followers and build relationships to foster a positive online community.
• Support the Social Media Manager in developing campaign concepts and executing social media advertising tasks.
• Track social media performance using analytics tools and contribute to weekly reporting.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new social media opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing, internship included.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
