Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsWhether you are seeking your first formal induction post or looking to build hands-on experience through long-term placements across local Blackpool provisions, our dedicated SEN division will match you with the right supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and independence.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and dedicated SEN Support Assistants.
Monitor student progress, manage individual learning targets, and track development effectively to meet your ECT induction standards.
Utilise positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support student well-being.What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be on track to graduate as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Passion: A genuine commitment to special education and inclusion, with a patient and empathetic approach.
