About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Early Years Coordinator to oversee and enhance the educational programs at their childcare facility in Nottingham . You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and learning are maintained, leading a team of practitioners, and liaising with parents to foster strong partnerships. This role requires a dedicated professional passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating an inspiring and safe environment for young children. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the nursery, contributing significantly to the positive development of children in Nottinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the early years team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and external agencies.
- Monitor children's progress and development, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Manage resources and contribute to the strategic planning and development of the nursery.
Requirements
- Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to child welfare.
