Early Years Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Early Years Coordinator to oversee educational programming and staff support at their reputable childcare centre in Nottingham . This key role involves ensuring the effective implementation of the EYFS curriculum, supporting and guiding the early years team, and maintaining strong communication channels with parents. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes optimal child development and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum across all age groups.
• Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for the early years staff team.
• Monitor and assess the quality of teaching and learning, implementing improvements as needed.
• Ensure all children's learning and development needs are met through effective observation and assessment.
• Liaise with parents and families, fostering strong partnerships to support children's learning at home and in the setting.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education, with a strong preference for a Foundation Degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior or coordinating role within an early years setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS framework, child development, and assessment strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong ability to motivate and support a team of educators.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
