Early Years Educator - Day Nursery

About the Role

Our client operates a highly reputable day nursery in Stoke-on-Trent and is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join their passionate team. This role involves providing exceptional care and education for children aged from birth to five years. You will be responsible for engaging children in stimulating activities, supporting their developmental milestones, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education to children, following the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .
• Plan and provide a range of engaging and stimulating play-based learning experiences.
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress, sharing updates with parents and senior staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for all children in the nursery.
• Build warm, secure, and supportive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and confidence.

Requirements

• A relevant Childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3.
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A passion for early years education and a commitment to professional development.
