About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their innovative, remote-first childcare support team, based remotely but liaising with families and settings across Southampton and surrounding areas. This role involves providing exceptional support and guidance to parents and childcare providers through digital channels, helping to enrich early learning experiences at home and in nurseries. You will be instrumental in developing online resources and delivering virtual assistance, contributing to a flexible and modern approach to childcare support, making a real difference from your own home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, remote support to parents and early years professionals, offering advice on child development and learning activities.
• Create and share engaging digital content, such as activity ideas, parenting tips, and educational guides suitable for young children.
• Conduct virtual consultations and workshops, guiding users through educational tools and methodologies.
• Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries received via email, chat, or video calls, maintaining a professional and supportive demeanor.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine remote support strategies and resources.
• Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into support activities.

Requirements

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field is essential.
• Previous experience working directly with children in a nursery, preschool, or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and the EYFS framework .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals remotely.
• Proficient in using digital communication platforms and basic content creation tools.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage workload efficiently, and maintain a high level of professionalism while working from home.
