About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join a reputable nursery in the heart of Birmingham . You will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating and caring environment where young children can learn, play, and develop. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to fostering early learning through play-based activities and providing excellent care. Working within a supportive team, you will contribute to the overall success of the nursery and ensure the well-being of all children under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Create a stimulating and inspiring learning environment, ensuring resources are accessible and well-maintained.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community within the nursery.

Requirements

• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education).
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.
• A passion for early childhood development and a caring, patient attitude.
