Early Years Educator (Full-Time)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Educator to join their well-established nursery in Plymouth . You will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and develop. This role involves engaging children in a variety of activities designed to promote their learning and growth across all developmental domains. You will work as part of a passionate team, contributing to a positive and safe atmosphere that supports both the children and their families, ensuring a strong start to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records and providing feedback to parents.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and independence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent high standards of care and education.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years education.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is preferred.
• A good understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, enthusiastic, and compassionate approach to childcare.
