Early Years Educator - Nursery Setting

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Educator to join their busy nursery in Plymouth . You will be responsible for the daily care and education of young children, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where they can learn and develop through play. This role requires a proactive individual with a genuine passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Ensure adherence to all safeguarding policies and procedures, promoting the welfare of every child.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for children, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in childcare, such as Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
